Provillus is an over touted formula like many other products that flood the Internet taking advantage of good people. I’ve been studying hair loss disorders for over 15 years, so let’s give this one a go!

I will answer in two difference scenarios to narrow down your specific circumstances.

Scenario 1: If you’re still menstruating you’ll want to check your thyroid and iron and ferritin levels (iron stores). Frequently menstruating female hair loss can be related to an iodine deficiency. It can also be PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), but fortunately high-dose iodine can actually normalize this condition. PCOS creates very similar conditions the negative hormone consequences that men face.

See this site for more info on this matter: http://www.immortalhair.org/physiology.htm

Scenario 2: If you’re no longer menstruating, the rise in iron storage (causes oxidative stress/free-radicals) and the precipitous drop in estrogen loses a natural protection from hair loss. The solution in this case is 100 milligrams of stabilized R-Lipoic acid (+ biotin (negates the adverse effects of excessive iron storage). Finally and most important, to compensate for the loss of protective estrogen I recommend 500 milligrams of Pueraria Mirifica. If you prefer not to use it internally, you can also use a liquid extract of it topically. One place that is very reasonable in cost for this is http://www.Ainterol.us

I don’t know that product but I do know that with some you have to always use it.
Have you ever used Nioxin shampoo and hair treatment? This is a product that will help, but won’t grow back major balding. Sometimes when hair just starts to go, it’s because the follicles get clogged and the nioxin can help with that. It has also been know to get hair growing again. Check out the website.

Also check this out…maybe it will help

    Hi There.

Provillus offers solution to both men and women separately. The reason behind this is the fact that the component Saw Palmetto, present in men’s version, may be potentially dangerous to unborn children.

It is basically safe because it is without chemical that may cause harm or negative side effects like other chemical based products

Provillus side effects are never reported. It’s a medically proved product that has no side effects at all.

Provillus is an all natural supplement, built to block the DHT(Dihydrotestoterone) in the body. It is FDA-approved.

No side effects have been reported from users of Provillus.

The main cause of hair loss in most women is harder to prevent. This is because it is hormonal in nature. The hormone DHT attacks and shrinks hair follicles. The problem is made worse by drops in estrogen levels typically observed among females who have just given birth or who are on the way to menopause.

Mothers can at least expect to have their strands return to the normal cycle of growth and shedding 3 to 12 months after giving birth. It is a different story for those who are experiencing menopausal symptoms. Estrogen levels may fluctuate for many years until one enters menopause.

So my suggestion is to talk to a doctor before you use any medication.

Dont’t shave your head just yet. I was lucky to be introduced to provillus 2 months ago and i already see the results!
Provillus is one of the most popular products on hair loss on the market today. It’s popularity stems from the fact that this product is an all natural hair loss product which has no side effects AT ALL 🙂 .
Although my doctor advised me not to use it if i get pregnant.

so there you go – i tried it- i loved it – and i highly recomend it

Hope it helps & Good Luck!

  • BobB:

Provillus is not a drug. It’s all natural stuff. And it’s all stuff that will make you healthier – nothing in there has side effects.

You should use the one for women, because mostly when women’s hair falls out it’s not for the same reason as with men.

It has a really good rep. I’d have no hesitation.
